Why Flying Machine Guns Might NOT Be the Future of War

There are reasons these aren't widespread on active battlefields

Flying machine guns sound cool and seems like everyone wants to make these. I’m just not sure this is the future of warfare.

That said, people much smarter than me just rolled out the new FireStorm 250. A drone mounted machine gun designed to combine surveillance, target identification and precision fire.

Russia is also rolling out a new cruise missile that includes 3D printed components and comes in at about 10% the cost of a US Tomahawk.

Lastly, we’ve got some new drone footage from the Houthis in Yemen to give an idea of just how far some of this new technology has already spread.
